Tell us a bit about yourself:
I live in Candelo, a small rural town in southern New South Wales. Before joining CMDFA, I spent several years working in bookkeeping, payroll, administration, compliance and financial reporting. I’m excited to now be part of CMDFA.
What are you passionate about?
I enjoy solving problems, improving processes and helping organisations run well so they can focus on their mission. I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my skills to support the work God is doing through CMDFA and its members.
What will you be responsible for at CMDFA?
I’m still learning the ropes, but my role involves supporting the National Office in a range of areas, including finance, membership administration, communications, events and general operations.
Give us a bit more:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being involved in my local church, fishing, swimming, and spending time by the ocean. Living on the Far South Coast means I’m never too far from the beach, which is a pretty good place to unwind.

How best do you see yourself contributing to the role?
I have been a member of CMDFA since my first year of university, and over that time, have established a deep appreciation for the values and mission of this organisation. As Secretary, I hope to contribute not only by applying my organisational skills to support the smooth functioning of the fellowship, but also by helping us to live out the Gospel in tangible ways. It is my desire that we continue to invest meaningfully into the lives of our fellow medical and dental professionals and students, encouraging one another to meet regularly, walk boldly in our callings and to serve faithfully in the ministries that God places us in.
How else are you involved with CMDFA?
I was previously the Recent Graduates Worker for Students.
What would you like to say to someone considering to be a board member?
I would highly recommend that you consider becoming a Board Member, even if you have not had any previous experience. I have found it so enriching to be able to serve God through this ministry and am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to join it as a junior doctor.
What do you like to do when you have free time?
I enjoy running, hiking, writing and reading.
What is your favourite colour and favourite dessert?
My favourite colour is blue, and my favourite dessert is Gelato Messina.

I hope to harness the financial resources we have been generously given to maximise our impact for God’s Kingdom.
How else are you involved with CMDFA?
I join in the Friday prayer meetings led by Ernest and Angela, support my local Victorian CMDFA chapter when I can, and encourage our students.
What would you like to say to someone considering to be a board member?
It is not for the faint-hearted. But hey, who said anything worthwhile was easy?
What do you like to do when you have free time?
What? When? Like most millennials, I succumb to YouTube, Netflix, and the occasional audiobook. Camping and travel is always a blast with my young family.
What is your favourite colour and favourite dessert?
Royal blue. No – probably Gold. Orange? I don’t seem to get bored of bubble tea.
